Upon your arrival in Shimla, meet the driver who will transfer you to Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border. Travel through a changing landscape that ranges from dense forests to open meadows, from apple orchards to rugged terrain. Enroute, pass by Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr. Reach Chitkul where you can have a meal at the ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’. Check-in to your hotel / homestay for an overnight stay. Hit the roads and begin your transfer from Shimla to Chitkul. Pass through the popular towns of Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr to enter the spectacular Kinnaur valley. Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Chitkul following the Baspa river. Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border and here you can also visit the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’ for an amazing meal.

Pass through the charming Kinnaur Valley and on the way, witness the confluence of Spiti & Satluj River from the Khab Bridge. Reach Nako, check-in and get picked up by the driver for local sightseeing. Explore the tranquil Nako Monastery and spend the evening by the Nako Lake. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay. Activity: Chitkul to Nako | Nako Sightseeing Leave for Nako passing through the beautiful Kinnaur Valley. Take the Indo-Tibet Highway and pass through the Khab bridge that marks the confluence of Spiti and the Satluj River (Khab Sangam). The road will further lead you to Nako, the last hamlet of the Kinnaur district. Post check-in, head over to see the beautiful Nako Monastery, situated by the beautiful Nako Lake. Post check-out, the driver will pick you up and take you to Kaza, a picturesque town in Spiti. Cross Sumdo and take a right to visit the Gue Village housing a 500 year old mummy. You will then head towards Tabo Monastery, known as the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas’. Continue your journey towards the Pin Valley National Park where you might spot the Snow Leopard. Later, reach Kaza and check-in to your hotel / homestay for an overnight stay. Transfer in Innova, Tempo Traveller or similar Nako to Kaza Distance: 111 km | Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes The driver will pick you up from the hotel in Nako and take you to your hotel / homestay in Kaza. After sightseeing on the way, the driver will drop you at the hotel / homestay in Kaza. Activity: Nako to Kaza | Visit Gue Monastery, Tabo Monastery & Pin Valley National Park En route Hit the roads and just as you cross Sumdo you will be entering the Spiti Valley. Next, visit the Tabo Monastery which is the oldest continuously operating Buddhist enclave in both India and the Himalayas. You will then travel down to Hikkim & explore the world's highest post office. Continue to Langza Village and visit the Lang Temple. Next, visit the picturesque Key Monastery & continue towards the charming Kibber Village. Later, visit the Chicham Bridge & return back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kaza.
