Gangtok: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri/bagdogra Airport

Gangtok: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

The second day of your Darjeeling and Gangtok honeymoon package takes you to the crossroads of the Indo-China border. After a hearty breakfast served in hotel, you will be taken to visit the enchanting Tsomgo Lake & Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir - the temple built after an Indian army personnel who died near the Nathula Pass. The Tsomgo Lake, perched at an altitude of 12,400 feet and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir at an altitude of 13,200 feet make for a thrilling day excursion with the love of your life beside you. Subject to availability of permit, you can ask the agent’s representative to take you to Nathula Pass, a strategic pass which formed an offshoot of the Old Silk Road. Come back to the hotel and snuggle the night away. Note: For Nathula pass you will have to pay Rs 3,500/- (approximately) per vehicle on reaching Gangtok for permit. Nathula Pass visit is subject to availability of permit.

Gangtok: City Tour

After a healthy breakfast in hotel, proceed for a city tour of Gangtok, Sikkim’s precipitous capital city. An agent’s representative will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Do Drul Chorten - the most significant Buddhist shrine in the state. Next up on your itinerary for your Gangtok honeymoon holiday is a visit to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, the foundation stone of which was laid by the 14th Dalai Lama in 1957. You will also be taken to visit the Handloom & Handicrafts centre, the picturesque Bakthang waterfall, and the Enchey Monastery.
